The Jets came from behind in the fourth quarter to keep their season alive in Week 9, beating the Texans 21-13 on Thursday Night Football. Now, New York heads on the road against the NFC West-leading Cardinals (5-4).
Trailing 10-7 going into the final frame, the Jets exploded with 14 unanswered points, securing the victory. Despite being outgained 322-293, they managed to hold on, thanks to solid performances from Aaron Rodgers, who passed for 211 yards and three touchdowns.
Running back Breece Hall contributed 74 yards on 15 carries, providing a key ground game to complement the passing attack. The Jets’ defense played a crucial role, keeping the Texans out of the end zone in the second half while limiting them to just one turnover.
As for the Cardinals, they earned a decisive 29-9 win over the Bears to improve to 5-4 on the season. After taking a 21-9 lead at halftime, Arizona kept Chicago scoreless in the second half while adding another eight points for a comfortable win. Despite losing the turnover battle 2-0 and only converting 5 of 13 third downs, the Cardinals were dominant in other areas.
Kyler Murray passed for 154 yards, and James Conner was a force on the ground, rushing for 107 yards. Arizona’s defense stifled the Bears’ offense, limiting them to just 241 total yards. It was a well-rounded team effort that helped the Cardinals extend their winning record.
