MATS HUMMELS and his model girlfriend were repeatedly shown on camera during Germany’s recent World Cup qualifier.
That is amid a row between Hummels, 36, and his ex-wife Cathy Fischer which was sparked last month.
The legendary defender was spotted at the RheinEnergieSTADION on Sunday to watch the German national team in action against Northern Ireland.
Julian Nagelsmann’s men won 3-1 thanks to goals by Serge Gnabry, Nadiem Amiri and Florian Wirtz – with Michael O’Neill’s men temporarily equalising with Isaac Price.
But the camera would often pan on Hummels, who was also sat next to Borussia Dortmund star Nico Schlotterbeck.
They were joined by Schlotterbeck’s legendary team-mate’s girlfriend Nicola Cavanis.
Nicola, 26, is a successful model that has worked for the likes of Victoria’s Secret and Puma.
She also has over 2million followers on Instagram alone.
Hummels and Nicola started dating in 2023 – that was a year after splitting with Cathy, 37, with whom he was married for seven years.
The Germany legend recently came under fire when his former spouse claimed she and their son Ludwig, 7, were not invited to his farewell match.
The Dortmund great announced his retirement in April and was granted a testimonial last month.
Hummels played for his beloved Dortmund against Juventus, who won 2-1 at Signal Iduna Park.
The ex-Roma star’s girlfriend Nicola was in attendance as she cheered him on from the stands.
However, the legendary defender’s ex-wife and son were not in attendance.
Cathy insists that is because they were never given an invite and didn’t even know about the testimonial..
While Hummels was being honoured, his ex-wife and Ludwig were around 400 miles away on holiday at Lake Chiemsee.
