RHP Mike Burrows made his third major league rehab appearance with Sugar Land on Wednesday night and tossed 4.1 innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while walking two and striking out seven.
His seven strikeouts marked a high with Sugar Land on his Major League rehab assignment and was his first game with at least seven strikeouts since April 25, when he struck out seven against the New York Yankees while with Houston.
Burrows began his night by retiring the first two batters in the last of the first, but a two-out infield single brought up Joey Meneses , who hit a two-run home run to left field to give Las Vegas an early 2-0 lead.
