Bruno Fernandes’ agent ‘holds productive Al-Hilal talks in Saudi Arabia over stunning £100m transfer from Man Utd’

BRUNO FERNANDES’ agent has held “productive” talks with Al-Hilal, according to reports.

The Saudi side are pushing hard to seal a £100million deal for the Manchester United captain in the coming days.

Fernandes, 30, has been on the Red Devils’ post-season tour in Malaysia.

According to the Mail, his agent Miguel Pinho, meanwhile, jetted to Saudi Arabia to meet with Al-Hilal chiefs.

Club president Fahad bin Nafel is said to have engaged in positive talks with Pinho at the Four Seasons hotel in Riyadh – with Al-Hilal proposing a tax-free £700,000 a week three-year deal worth £200m including bonuses.

Al-Hilal are set to participate in the expanded Club World Cup next month and want to recruit a new superstar in time to feature.

Last year’s Saudi champions told Fernandes’ camp on Monday that they wanted a response within 72 hours.

The Portuguese midfielder is yet to give them a concrete decision.

Man Utd’s stance is said to be that they’d like to keep their skipper.

Fernandes’ future could be settled later this week.

Following United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, Fernandes offered to quit the Red Devils.

The former Sporting CP star said: “I have always been honest. I’ve always said I will be here until the club says to me that it’s time to go.

“I’m eager to do more, to be able to bring the club the great days.

“In the day that the club thinks that I’m too much or it’s time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I’ve always said it and I keep my word in the same way.

“If the club thinks it’s time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it’s what it is, and football sometimes is like this.”

Boss Ruben Amorim, 40, said earlier this week: “He’s really important for us and really important for what we want to build with this team.”
