Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders recently had a run-in with the law after he was pulled over for speeding.

Sanders was cited for an alleged speeding violation earlier this week. Police records show that Sanders was going 101 miles per hour when he was pulled over. That was 41 miles per hour over the speed limit.

Sanders now has the option to pay the fine or fight the ticket in court. The team has not commented on the situation.

Following that incident, FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd revealed that he’s out on Sanders after his blunder on the road.

“When you fall to 144 in the draft and then try to match that number behind the wheel of a car… yeah, I don’t think the same,” Cowherd said. “I’m not as high on him. I’m not sure he’s mature enough.”

Cowherd is referencing the fact that Sanders, who was widely projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, fell all the way to the fifth round before Cleveland halted his slide with the No. 144 overall pick.

If Cowherd was out after one speeding ticket, he’s going to really disown Sanders after he finds out that the Browns rookie actually has two.

According to police records, via Browns reporter Brad Stainbrook, Sanders was actually pulled over before his recent speeding ticket.

The records show that Sanders was doing 91 in a 65 mile-per-hour zone in Brunswick Hills on June 6. Sanders also apparently failed to appear in court for the ticket.
