Tim Bradley says he wants Terence Crawford to fight someone next where he’s “unsure” of winning the fight.
A Call for Genuine Risk
Bradley points out that for Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) to be involved in a fight that will require a “miracle” for him to win, he needs to face the type of opponents where there’s doubt.

Crawford knew that he would beat Canelo Alvarez before they fought. So, that was what Bradley calls “the spoken truth.” For people to doubt Bud in high numbers, he will need to come out of his comfort zone and face one of the predators at 168 or 175.
Is Crawford Avoiding Real Threats?
It’s easy to think of quite a few fighters that Crawford could fight if he were willing to try for a “miracle” type of victory. But if he’s unwilling to face them, he’ll never get that “miracle” win.
The fact that Crawford has already rejected a fight against David Benavidez and seemed uninterested in a clash against Jaron Ennis suggests that he’s not willing to take risks.
Crawford’s mention of moving down to 160 further cements the view that he only wants to fight opposition where the outcome is virtually guaranteed to be a win for him. So, there’s no chance of a “miracle” fight with that kind of cherry-picking attitude.
The Definition of a Cherry Picker

It’s also called a surefire victory. And fighters that only select opponents that they know they’re going to beat going in are called cherry pickers. Chris Algieri said Crawford never takes fights that he doesn’t think he’ll win, so that makes him the definition of a cherry picker.
Canelo’s Recent Physical Changes
Canelo, 35, had come close to losing his previous fight against William Scull on one judge’s scorecard, scoring it 115-113. That’s the identical score that I had. Alvarez looked poor in that fight, showing none of the explosive power that he’d had three years earlier against Caleb Plant on November 6, 2021.
Moreover, Canelo’s physique for his last two fights appeared less muscular, less defined, and deflated in appearance. I wasn’t the only one who noticed this. Many fans noted the change in the Mexican superstar’s body. He’d lost a lot of muscle and looked washed out in appearance. He didn’t look like the same person.
In Alvarez’s fight against Edgar Berlanga, he still looked muscular. After that fight, he underwent physical changes for the Scull and Crawford fights. Some people age overnight, and Canelo could be an example.
Bradley’s Question for “Bud”
“What do you call a fight that you’re unsure you’re going to win? A miracle. Hey Bud, let’s see if we can get in a miracle fight. I don’t know who that guy is. Who is that miracle fight for him?” said Bradley.
