Sean McComb (20-2, 5 KOs) defeated IBF European light welterweight champion Ben Crocker (14-1, 2 KOs) by a 10-round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Park Community Arena, Sheffield, England.

McComb Outworks Crocker After Scare

In the second round, Crocker dropped McComb with a left hook on the chin for an 8-count from Referee Howard Foster. From the third through the sixth rounds, McComb outworked Crocker.

In the seventh round, Crocker twice rocked southpaw McComb with a right on the chin. In the ninth round, McComb kept flicking out his right jab and landed on Crocker.

The judges’ scores were 96-93, 96-93, and 96-93. Howard Foster was the referee.

Gallagher Dominates Hellewell for Titles

In the co-feature, WBO International, British and Commonwealth super bantamweight champion ‘The First Lady’ Tysie Gallagher (10-2) defeated southpaw Ellie Hellewell (7-1, 1 KO) by a 10-round unanimous decision.

In the first four rounds, Gallagher outworked Hellewell. From the fifth through the eighth rounds, Gallagher took all rounds. In the ninth and tenth rounds, Hellewell did enough by finishing each round stronger, winning both rounds.

The scores were 98-93, 97-93, and 97-94. Reece Carter was the referee.

Kraus Drops Forrest, Wins Decision

Light heavyweight Gradus Kraus (8-0, 7 KOs) defeated Scott Forrest (7-2, 4 KOs) by a six-round points decision, scoring the lone knockdown.

In the first round, Kraus dropped Forrest with a left hook on the chin, almost a minute through the round, for an 8-count from referee Mark Downing. From the second through the sixth, Kraus outlanded Forrest each round, having him pinned in the corner at the final round. At the end, Forrest had a large bruise under his left eye.

Referee Downing scored it 60-53.

Middleweight Shakiel Thompson (15-0, 11 KOs) knocked out Grant ‘Go-Getter’ Dennis (19-17, 3 KOs) at 1:48 of the second round of a scheduled eight rounds.

In the second round, Thompson dropped Dennis with a right hook shot to the ribs as referee Mark Downing counted Dennis out, who was on a knee.

Lightweight Reece Mould (21-4, 6 KOs), #135, of Doncaster, Yorkshire, UK, defeated Benito ‘Canelito’ Sanchez, Garcia (17-12-3, 5 KOs) by a six-round points decision.

Referee Reece Carter scored 60-54.

Super middleweight Taz Nadeem (7-0, 4 KOs) knocked out Marius Mihai Dumitru (1-5, 1 KO) at 2:51 of the fifth round of a scheduled six rounds.

In the fourth and fifth rounds, Nadeem scored knockdowns before referee Mark Downing called a halt.

Featherweight Edward Hardy (5-0, 2 KOs) beat Jose Manuel Perez (15-25-1, 10 KOs) by a six-round points decision.

From the first through the sixth, Hardy put the pressure on Perez for all six rounds.

Referee John Latham scored it 60-54.

Junior middleweight Amaar Akbar (9-0, 1 KO) defeated Eduardo Vera Sanchez (2-12-2) by a six-round points decision.

Junior middleweight Harris Akbar (2-0) defeated Jack Swallow (3-2, 1 KO) by a four-round points decision.

Referee Mark Downing scored it 40-36.
