Heavyweight 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist Joe ‘Juggernaut’ Joyce lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Flip ‘El Animal’ Hrgovic on Saturday night at the Co-Ope Live Arena in Manchester, England.

In the third round, a right from Joyce opened a cut on the left eyebrow of Hrgovic.

In the fifth round, Joyce landed a left, causing a cut on Hrgovic’s right eyebrow.

In the first round, with only one 8 in his last fight and no opponents with a winning record, it’s a step up for O’Regan. O’Regan moved side to side, using a jab as Rafferty hardly landed a punch in the first two rounds.

In the third round, O’Regan started landing lefts to the chin of Rafferty for several minutes until the final seconds when Rafferty landed his first power punch, dropping O’Regan and drawing blood from his nose for an 8-count from Referee Darren Sargensin.

In the eighth and ninth rounds, Majid, coming in low, works Murphy’s body but is caught by uppercuts on the chin in an action round. In the tenth and final round, with the fight up for grabs, both had their moments, with Murphy suffering a cut on his left eyebrow. A draw wouldn’t hurt either fighter.
