Boxing Results: Albert Ramirez, Arthur Biyarslanov, and Mehmet Unal Dominate

Light heavyweight Albert Ramirez (21-0, 15 KOs) stopped Michael Flannery (13-1, 11 KOs) at 1:09 of the second round of a scheduled 10-round fight on Thursday night at the Montreal Casino, Montreal, in Quebec, Canada.

In the first round, Ramirez dropped Flannery with a left on the chin for an 8-count from Referee Junior Padulo. In the second round, Ramirez dropped Flannery with a right uppercut to the chin for an 8-count from Referee Padulo. As Flannery got up, the fight was waved off.

NABF Super Light southpaw Arthur ‘The Wolf’ Biyarslanov (19-0, 16 KOs) knocked out Antonio Collado (19-2, 3 KOs) at 0:38 of the third round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round’s final minute, Biyarslanov dropped Collado with a combination for an 8-count from Referee Yvon Goulet. Upon rising, Collado was met with a flurry of punches from Biyarslanov. In the second round, Biyarslanov dropped Collado for a third time, another 8-count. Then was warned two times for hitting behind the head.

In the third round, Biyarslanov dropped Collado with a right to the body for an 8-count from Referee Goulet. Upon rising, Biyarslanov was all over Collado, causing the fight to be stopped.

In the co-feature, Mehmet Unal (13-0, 11 KOs) knocked out Jan Czerklewicz (14-3, 3 KOs) at 2:56 of the first round of a scheduled 10 rounds for the vacant WBC Continental Americas light heavyweight title.

In the first round’s halfway point, Unal dropped Czerkewicz with a pair of punches to the body for an 8-count from Referee Martin Forest. In the final minute, Unal dropped Czerkewicz for an eight count with a right on the chin. In the final seconds of the round, Unal dropped Czerkewicz with a right to the head for a third time, forcing referee Forst to wave it off.

Light heavyweight Moreno ’The Soldier’ Fendero (11-0, 9 KOs) stopped Kristaps Bulmeistars (13-4, 5 KOs) at 2:46 of the first round of a scheduled eight rounds.

In the first round, two body shots from Fendero knocked Bulmeister several feet, causing a right ankle injury. In the final half minute, a flurry of punches from Fendero dropped Bulmeister for an 8-count from Referee Junior Padulo, who waved it off.

Super lightweight 2025 Olympic Bronze Medalist southpaw Wyatt ‘Kennett Cook Kid’ Sanford (2-0, 2 KOs) knocked out Tomas ‘Salan’ Lastra (2-1, 1 KOs) at 2:59 of the first round of a scheduled four rounds.

In the first round’s last minute, Sanford landed a flurry of punches, starting with a left on the chin, having Lastra in a corner defenseless, when Referee Yvone Goulet waved it off.

Super featherweight Erik Israyelyan (2-0, 2 KOs) stopped southpaw Alex ‘Dirty Dog’ Gagnon (0-3-1) at 1:18 of the second round of a scheduled four rounds.

In the first round, it was all Israyelyan. In the second round, Israyelyan dropped Gagnon in a corner for an 8-count with a four-punch combination from referee Martin Forest. Upon rising, the fight was called off.
