The Cincinnati Bengals enter the 2025 season with a big question around star defensive end Trey Hendrickson and his contract situation. But, the good news is both Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase are back with quarterback Joe Burrow in a dangerous offense.
But, Burrow had some qualms about the new schedule once it was released by the NFL. Among the notable schedule tidbits, the Bengals face off against the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore on Thanksgiving night.
This marks the fourth straight year the Bengals will face the Ravens on the road in a night game, and that fact brought a desperate plea from Burrow, per Ben Baby of ESPN.
“Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight prime-time year isn’t ideal. Maybe we can get one of those in Cincinnati next year. Please.”
The other showdown comes on Sunday, December 14 in Cincinnati, although it is scheduled for a 1 pm ET kickoff.
Unfortunately, the Bengals are 0-3 in the last three games in Baltimore, which included a tough 35-34 loss a year ago, so Burrow is earnestly hoping the NFL gives them a home game against the Ravens on primetime at some point in the future.
On the other hand, Bengals coach Zac Taylor is excited for the primetime game between the AFC North rivals, per Ben Baby.
“Playing on Thanksgiving night in a stand-alone game with the whole world watching, sitting on their couch, is really exciting. It’s why you’re in this business.”
Hopefully, the NFL gives the Bengals a home night game against the Ravens at some point.
