TENNIS legend Maria Sharapova has given fans a glimpse into her intense workout routine – sparking calls for a comeback.
The Russian icon may have retired in 2020 but she is training as though she is ready to take to the court at any moment.
The 38-year-old filmed herself in the gym doing weighted pistol squats, lunges and core exercises.
She uploaded the clips to her Instagram account, where she boasts 4.7MILLION followers, with the video already racking up 350,000 views since going live on Tuesday.
She captioned the post: “After missing a couple of weeks of strength training, I can confirm, it’s not like riding a bicycle.”
Her fans rushed to the comments to show their appreciation for the iconic athlete, with some asking her to return to the screens of tennis fans.

Sharapova is one of the most successful female tennis players ever.
With her win at the French Open in 2012, she completed the career Grand Slam, having recorded wins at Wimbledon, the US Open and the Australian Open between 2004 and 2008.
She was inducted into the tennis Hall of Fame in August by long-time rival Serena Williams.
Since retiring, she has headed into the world of business in a surprising industry, launching a furniture line alongside Rove Concepts.
Her ventures in business have helped rocket her net worth to an estimated £130MILLION.
Sharapova clearly has a knack for her new trade, selling her mega-mansion to Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic in September for £18.5million, SIX TIMES what she had paid 13 years prior.
But she has not left the sporting world completely, and recently enjoyed a meal and a drink with stars like Aryna Sabalenka and David Beckham.
