The Chicago Bears are going to be one of the most interesting teams in the NFL this season.
Chicago has all the tools it takes to win in the NFL, but it’s going to come down to what second-year quarterback Caleb Williams can do.
The NFL is a quarterback league, and if the quarterback isn’t playing at a high level, it’s hard to win games. However, the quarterback does need help around him, and having a great running back can help.
The Bears currently need to add another running back to help out D’Andre Swift and Lester A. Wiltfong Jr., from Windy City Gridiron, thinks the Bears could go after Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne.
“There’s always a trade possibility, but that likely wouldn’t materialize until teams are deep into training camp,” Wiltfong wrote. If a player like Jacksonville’s Etienne looks to be buried as the number three tailback, the Jags may be willing to move him.”

Etienne has 2,691 career rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns and would be a nice addition to the Bears’ roster.
Etienne is playing this season under his six-million-dollar fifth-year option, then will be a free agent at the end of the season.
If the Bears want Etienne, they might have to send a Day 3 pick to acquire him because he might only be in Chicago for one season.
