Baumgardner vs. Beaudoin, Russell vs. Hiraoka, Scotney vs. Flores: Full Netflix Undercard for Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis

Baumgardner vs. Beaudoin, Russell vs. Hiraoka, Scotney vs. Flores: Full Netflix Undercard for Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis

Forget Jake vs. Tank — The Undercard Is Doing the Heavy Lifting!

Jake Paul vs. Gervonta “Tank” Davis is technically the main event in Miami on November 14. Great. Clap for the circus. Meanwhile, the undercard is absolutely loaded with world champions, history, and actual boxing. You know — the thing this sport is supposed to be about.

Russell vs. Hiraoka — A Real World Title Fight

Gary Antuanne Russell (18-1, 17 KOs) is defending his WBA super lightweight title against Andy Hiraoka (24-0, 19 KOs). Two legit southpaws with absurd knockout rates meeting in a dangerous fight.

Russell’s the youngest of the fighting Russell dynasty, and unlike a certain YouTube star, he didn’t get here by yelling on podcasts. Olympic background, relentless pressure, and a family name built on actual championships. His only loss was a split decision, and otherwise? He’s been smashing people to bits.

Hiraoka is undefeated and Japan’s #1 at 140 pounds. He’s six feet tall, hits like a truck, and has been flattening contenders for a decade. If he pulls this off, he becomes Japan’s newest world champ .

Baumgardner vs. Beaudoin — 12×3 and a Middle Finger to the WBC

Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (16-1, 7 KOs) defends her WBA, WBO, and IBF super featherweight belts against Leila Beaudoin (13-1, 2 KOs). But here’s the kicker: they’re fighting 12 three-minute rounds — the same as men. Baumgardner straight-up vacated her WBC title because that sanctioning body still thinks women should be stuck on 10×2 like it’s 1995.

So yeah, while Jake and Tank argue about pay-per-view numbers, Baumgardner is out here rewriting the rules of women’s boxing and putting her legacy on the line. Beaudoin, of course, swears she’s about to topple the champ. Cute. Let’s see how long that confidence lasts when Alycia’s throwing heat in round ten, eleven, and twelve.

Scotney vs. Flores — Britain’s Youngest Undisputed Bid

Ellie Scotney (11-0) is 27 years old and about to become the youngest British fighter ever to go for undisputed. Male or female. She’s already unified, already wrecked champions, and now she gets WBA titlist Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs) to close the deal.

Scotney’s been climbing belt by belt since 2020. Meanwhile, Flores is 4’11” of pure aggression who throws punches like she’s double-parked outside. This one is guaranteed chaos — the kind of fight that decides careers.

Valle vs. Bustillos — Champions Who Don’t Need Clout

Yokasta Valle (33-3, 10 KOs), one of the pound-for-pound best, defends her WBC strawweight belt against unbeaten Yadira Bustillos (11-1, 2 KOs). Valle has fought across three divisions, held multiple belts, pushed for equal pay, and still has to share a stage with Jake Paul shouting “LEGACY” into a camera.

Bustillos is hungry, undefeated, and ready to wreck the party. At 105 pounds, these two will throw more punches in three rounds than Jake Paul will in an entire fight. But yeah, keep pretending he’s the one “saving boxing.”

Griffin vs. Francis — Even the Undercard Undercard Has Bite

Avious Griffin (17-1, 16 KOs) is a welterweight wrecking ball with a 94% KO rate and a life story that would break most people. Across from him is Cesar Francis (14-2, 9 KOs), a tough Panamanian who believes he’s ready for a title shot in the next year. These guys are throwing down on the prelims like it’s an afterthought.

Meanwhile, the “main event” will probably be thirty minutes of Jake Paul posturing for TikTok before the first punch even lands.

The undercard is the main event. The main event is the undercard. Figure it out.

Amy Kaplan has been a boxing fan since she was 10 years old, which means she’s spent most of her life explaining to people that yes, she really does prefer fight nights over dinner parties. Now writing for Boxing News 24, she covers everything from world title fights to prospects swinging for a payday.  She mixes sharp analysis with sarcasm, calling out boxing politics and cutting through the press-release spin to give fans the stories that actually matter.
