Oviedo and Espanyol players were first to protest by standing still at the start of their Friday clash.

And when Barca and Girona stars followed suit LaLiga’s cameras cut away to  show footage of the stands instead.

Ronald Araujo struck at the death to ensure all three points and send Barca back to the top of La Liga.

They’ll now turn their attention to Olympiacos in the Champions League, before facing Real Madrid in El Clasico next Sunday.
