Baltimore Ravens predicted to trade 51-touchdown offensive superstar to Chargers

The Baltimore Ravens finished with the No. 1 total offense in the NFL in 2024 and there’s no reason to believe they will take a step back in 2025.

OC Greg Roman was the architect of an offensive unit that was nearly unstoppable for most of last season. The Ravens led the league with 424.9 yards per game, largely due to the two-headed monster defenses had to account for.

Lamar Jackson put together his best NFL season, finishing the year with 4,172 passing yards, 41 touchdowns and just four interceptions which was good enough to win Offensive Player of the Year.

Those were just Jackson’s passing stats. The dual-threat QB added another 918 yards and four touchdowns as a runner.

Alongside Jackson in the Baltimore Ravens backfield was Derrick Henry, who signed a two-year contract after starting his NFL career with the Titans. Henry clearly had a point to prove and he did just that. The Ravens bruising RB finished the year with 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.

Henry’s first season in Baltimore was enough to earn him a contract extension. The Ravens gave Henry a $30 million extension last month.

With both Jackson and Henry posing legitimate threats to run at any time, defenses often stacked the box to try to take away the Ravens running game, which opened up massive opportunities through the air.

WR Zay Flowers solidified himself as a true No. 1 receiver in the NFL, finishing the year with more than 1,000 yards receiving and earning his first trip to the Pro Bowl. Former first round pick Rashod Bateman finally thrived as a pass-catcher, finishing the year with 756 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.

Bateman, like Henry, was awarded with a contract extension last week.

Beyond the running back and receivers, the Ravens found a ton of success utilizing their two tight ends in the passing game. Mark Andrews, who has 51 career touchdowns during his time with the Ravens, hauled in 11 last season.

Isaiah Likley added another 477 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

As it stands, every key piece from the 2024 Ravens offense is set to return in 2025, but on prediction could change the Baltimore offense if it ends up coming true.

Anthony Palacios of Last Word on Sports believes the Ravens will trade Andrews to the Los Angeles Chargers:

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers need more of a dynamic playmaker than what they have on their roster. The team signed Tyler Conklin, which is the first step, but they need a long-term upgrade for Justin Herbert, as he’s been heavily reliant on his tight end unit. Will Dissly is good, but average, which can take them to the wild-card. However, Andrews knows how to turn a rebuilding roster into champions if he gets the right opportunities in Los Angeles.
