The Avalanche travel well, though, going 23-17-1 away from Denver on the season. Dallas also closed out the season cold as ice, losers of seven straight contests.

The Avalanche will face the Stars in the first round. They will then face the winner of the Blues vs. Leafs series if they’re able to advance.
Tickets for the first-round series as well as the hypothetical second-round tilt have been selling fast. The get-in price for home games at Ball Arena has been in the range of $150 to $170, but prices go up as the rises progresses.
