ASTON VILLA fans came under attack in Holland as Feyenoord fans hurled glasses in violent scenes.
Five people were arrested as supporters clashed on the streets of Rotterdam last night.
Villa and Feyenoord face each other in Thursday evening’s Europa League group stage game.
But on Wednesday, a brawl broke out as Feyenoord fans attacked Villa supporters outside an Irish pub.
Glasses were smashed as scuffles broke out in shocking scenes.
It is unclear if there were any injuries.
But police broke up the fight quickly.
And they later announced that five locals had been arrested.
The scrap came as fans from Napoli and Sporting Lisbon fought in Italy.
Video footage taken from a balcony showed fans from both sides attacking each other with chairs and sticks outside a bar.
Some supporters hurled items and seas as locals ran for cover.
While other fans appeared to be wearing crash helmets, possibly indicating a pre-meditated fight.
The violent scenes played out for several minutes as bystanders fled.
And in the end, one set of fans ran down a street as the others paced away in the opposite direction.
