Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Madueke set for medical, Gyokeres ‘FORCING Sporting exit’, Gunners ‘to make Eze approach’

Gyokeres’ strike continues

Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres is set to stay away from training with the Portuguese champions amid his bid to join Arsenal.

According to The Athletic, Gyokeres still does not intend to report back for pre-season with Sporting.

The striker was given an extended break by the Lisbon giants and was due to return to action on Friday.

However, the Sweden international told Sporting president Frederico Varandas he will not play for them again.

Arsenal keen on Trossard sale

Arsenal are open to selling Leandro Trossard during the summer transfer window.

That is according to The Times, who claim the Gunners are willing to let Trossard go to Fenerbahce after he provisionally agreed personal terms with Jose Mourinho’s side.

The same source claims the Gunners will demand around £20million for the 30-year-old, who agreed a three-year deal with Fener.

The Belgium international’s proposed exit comes as the North Londoners close in on a deal to sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea.

More on Trossard

Arsenal ace Leandro Trossard has sensationally agreed to a shock move to Fenerbahce.

SunSport understands Trossard is keen to move to Turkey, where he’ll team up with Fener manager Jose Mourinho.

Reports in Turkey claim Mourinho held talks with the winger and sold his vision to him.

The Portuguese tactician has reportedly pulled off the swoop in a bid to strengthen his team as he looks to challenge Galatasaray for the Super Lig title.

Chelsea face same Salah mistake

Mohamed Salah’s dismissal from Chelsea and Jose Mourinho has been a dark shadow looming over the club for almost a decade now.

Ever since his departure from Stamford Bridge in 2016, Salah, 33, has fired Liverpool to two Premier League titles as well as Champions League glory – picking up numerous individual awards in the process.

Meanwhile, the Blues’ fans have watched the likes of Willian, Juan Cuadrado and Hakim Ziyech take up the Egypt international’s role at Stamford Bridge with mixed results.

Thankfully at least, Chelsea learnt from their mistakes and haven’t been truly bitten in the same manner for a while now.

However, that might be about to change by selling what seems to be the most obvious Salah replica the club have had in years.

Noni Madueke moving to Arsenal has split the Chelsea fanbase down the middle.

Trossard agrees Fenerbahce move

Arsenal ace Leandro Trossard is keen to move to Fenerbahce this summer.

According to The Times, the Gunners are willing to let Trossard leave after agreeing personal terms with Fener.

The Turkish giants have offered the winger a three-year deal but have not agreed a transfer fee with the North Londoners.

Arsenal are likely to want about £20million for the Belgium international.

Norgaard deal details

Christian Norgaard has finally joined Arsenal from Brentford in a deal worth up to £15million.

The Gunners will pay the Bees an initial £10m, plus £5m in add-ons.

The midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the option of a third.

The Denmark international becomes the North Londoners’ third signing of the summer after Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi.
