Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Gunners ‘in ADVANCED Gyokeres talks’, £50m-plus bids ‘expected for Madueke’, Zubimendi DONE

Trossard ‘up for sale’

Arsenal are reportedly willing to cash in on Leandro Trossard.

That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who claims new Gunners Sporting Director Andrea Berta is keen to cash in on the Belgium international before his contract expires next summer.

The club are rumoured to be willing to sell the winger if they receive an offer in the region of £17million.

Gunners’ winger stance revealed

Arsenal will only look to sign a new winger if a star leaves the club this summer.

That’s according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who claims any potential move for Eberechi Eze or Noni Madueke will hinge on Gabriel Martinelli departing the Emirates.

Martinelli is reportedly wanted by Saudi side Al-Nassr, who are said to be willing to fork out a whopping £73million to sign the Brazilian.

Edu reacts to Forest move

The Gunners’ former Sporting Director, who has since been replaced by Andrea Berta, is champing at the bit to get started with Forest.

He said: “I’m truly excited about this new chapter and honoured by the trust placed in me.

“This project connects deeply with my values around innovation and long-term planning.

“I look forward to building a global football model that is competitive, sustainable, and aligned with our President’s ambition.”

Edu joins Premier League rivals

Former Gunners midfielder and Sporting Director Edu has been appointed as Nottingham Forest’s Global Head of Football.

He’s bagged the gig a little less than eight months after leaving the Emirates.

An excerpt of a club statement read: “Nottingham Forest is proud to announce the appointment of Edu Gaspar as Global Head of Football, a newly established leadership role overseeing football operations.

Edu brings a wealth of global football experience, both as a former elite player and a highly respected executive.

“Since transitioning into football management in 2011, Edu has held senior roles at SC Corinthians Paulista, the Brazilian National Team, and most recently, Arsenal FC, where he has earned widespread acclaim for his innovative and strategic approach to modern football operations.”

Eze asking price revealed

Arsenal have seemingly made a move for Noni Madueke after learning of Crystal Palace’s asking price for Eberechi Eze.

The versatile England international emerged as a target for the nrth Londoners late last month.

And the Gunners have turned their attention to trying to price Madueke from Chelsea’s clutches after learning that Palace are demanding £68million for Eze.

Centre-back eyed

Arsenal are working on a deal to sign Valencia star Cristhian Mosquera, it’s been claimed.

Mikel Arteta is expected to strengthen his defensive ranks this summer.

The Spaniard has made signing the centre-back a priority this summer and, according to The Athletic, he’s started negotiations with La Liga big boys Valencia for Mosquera.
