Jakub Kiwior moving on
Arsenal ace Jakub Kiwior is heading off to Porto as we approach Monday’s transfer deadline day.
Kiwior is set to depart in a deal worth £23million, with an obligation to buy.
This move frees up both cash and space within manager Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Vieira wanted
West Ham have reportedly entered the race to sign Arsenal ace Fabio Vieira.
Vieira is expected to leave before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Germany, the Hammers will battle Stuttgart as well as another top German side for the midfielder’s signature.
Bayern Munich have also been linked with the Portuguese ace.
Hincapie almost done
Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen.
Hincapie is finalising his move after arriving in north London today.
A loan has been agreed between the Gunners and Leverkusen with a £45million buy option.
William Saliba injury
Arsenal were dealt a major blow with William Saliba forced off after just five minutes against Liverpool.
Saliba went up for an early challenge with Hugo Ekitike but he stayed down and looked worryingly across to the dugouts.
And it was clear the centre-back was in no state to continue, so with just the crunch Premier League clash underway at Anfield he limped off.
The France international was replaced by summer signing Cristhian Mosquera.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta hinted the 24-year-old had picked up a problem in the warm-up before kick-off.
Three lessons for Arteta
Here’s three things Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta needs to take on board after today’s 1-0 loss at Liverpool:

- INJURY NIGHTMARE – WILL THIS EVER END?
- MERINO LOVES AN ANFIELD SCRAP – BUT NOT ENOUGH CREATIVITY IN MIDFIELD
