ARSENAL ace Leandro Trossard has sensationally agreed to a shock move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
SunSports understands that Trossard is keen to move to Turkey, where he’ll team up with Jose Mourinho.
The Belgian winger, 30, has stunned Gunners fans with news of the potential move to Istanbul.
Reports in Turkey say Mourinho held talks with the forward and sold his vision to him.
Mourinho has reportedly pulled off the swoop in a bid to strengthen his team as he looks to challenge Galatasaray for the league title.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 and quickly became a fan favourite with his slick footwork, goals, and relentless energy off the bench.
But after struggling to cement a starting role under Mikel Arteta, the Belgian has decided it’s time for a new chapter.
This is a summer of massive rebuilding for the Gunners who are also working on signing Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres.
Arsenal have long been on the search for a No9 and believe the Swedish striker will be the solution to their problem.
They are also working on deals for Crystal Palace‘s Eberechi Eze and have made contact with Chelsea to sign winger Noni Madueke.
Arsenal are up and running in the transfer window having signed Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard.
The number of arrivals means players like Trossard, who don’t normally start games, will be allowed to leave if the fee is right.
Reports suggest the fee could rise to £17million with add-ons included and Trossard is expected to pocket a tidy pay rise.
Fenerbahce have already completed the signing of Colombian Jhon Duran from Al Nassr.
Last season, they finished second in the league, painfully behind champions Galatasaray, and will be desperate to exact revenge next season.
