ARSENAL have received a late bid for Leandro Trossard three days after the summer transfer window slammed shut in the UK, reports suggest.
The Gunners can no longer sign any players but can sell to clubs in countries where the market is still open, such as Turkey.
And that is where this surprise offer arrived from as Besiktas have shown interest in Trossard, 30.
That is according to Turkish outlet Sozcu Spor, who claim the Istanbul outfit have bid £19.1million for the winger.
However, the North Londoners have yet to respond to Besiktas.
Sergen Yalcın’s side still have some time to get the Belgium international as the transfer window doesn’t close until September 12 in Turkey.
This comes after Trossard signed a peculiar new deal with Arsenal this past summer.
The Belgian ace got an increased salary but his contract still runs until 2027, just like his previous terms.
The ex-Brighton star received interest from Brentford, Aston Villa and clubs overseas during the summer.
SunSport understand Besiktas looked at Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho and are in the market for a new left winger.
That is after Sancho opted for Aston Villa, whom he joined on loan on deadline day.
Villa will be paying 80 per cent of the winger’s £200,000-a-week wages.
The percentage of the loan fee the Villans will pay will increase depending on how well the England international performs.
