LIVERPOOL fans have started to turn against under-fire boss Arne Slot after falling to a third heavy defeat in succession.
The Reds’ hopes of defending their Premier League title have fallen by the wayside after suffering losses to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest either side of the international break.
And Liverpool’s season plunged to new depths after being condemned to a 4-1 defeat by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Dominik Szoboszlai cancelled out Ivan Perisic’s early penalty to give the Merseyside giants hope of returning to winning ways.
But Guus Til restored the Dutch side’s advantage before a brace from Couhaib Driouech.
The reverse has left Liverpool in danger of missing out on progressing straight to the round of 16.

Abysmal Reds concede 10th goal in three games to lose again
And Arne Slot Out was trending on X after the final whistle, with frustrated supporters finally giving up.
The tactician equalled an unwanted 33-year record thanks to the Champions League loss to PSV.
That is because it is the first time that Liverpool have conceded three or more goals in three consecutive games in all competitions since September 1992.
The Reds started the season with six wins in a row, which had fans dreaming of being crowned Premier League champions again.

But defeats to Crystal Palace – twice – Galatasaray, Chelsea, Manchester United, Brentford, Manchester City, Nottingham Forest and PSV have followed.
Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister the last time Liverpool had a run as bad as this, when they lost nine of 12 matches between November 1953 and January 1954.
Shell-shocked Slot could barely find the words to describe the latest calamity to his Prem champions saying: “That’s another big loss.
“ I look at the way we reacted after conceding to go a goal down and I want to be positive about the players.
“We played positive after that, we equalised and I don’t think at half time anybody would have expected us to lose 4 – 1.
“But then we lost another goal early in the second half and after that we made more chances but this was hard to take, hard to take and the end result is a 4 – 1 loss.”
Slot takes his shattered side to West Ham on Sunday trying to stop the rot and stressing :”The only way to go is to go through now.
“What I mean with that is that we just have to face where we are in and fight really hard.
“It would be nice if we don’t every time get this knock of a goal we concede because it is not only conceding a goal it is also the feeling.
“At least the feeling I have and the players have and probably the fans, that after 45 minutes you don’t expect to be 1-1 you expect to be up.”
The Reds’ woeful run has come after they splashed the cash on an array of big-money signings during the summer transfer window.
