Rizzo, 36, spent parts of 10 seasons in Chicago and will be honored on Saturday at Wrigley Field. A four-time Gold Glove winner and three-time All-Star, he was one of the leaders of the 2016 World Series-winning Cubs team that snapped the franchise’s 108-year championship drought.

He also won a Silver Slugger Award in 2016 and was named the 2017 recipient of the Roberto Clemente Award.

Five years after winning a World Series in Chicago, Rizzo was dealt to the New York Yankees where he would play through the 2024 season.

This story will be updated.
