Anthony Gordon and Harry Wilson among tempting transfer targets for Gameweek 15

DREAM TEAM managers have until 1:30pm on Saturday to confirm their transfers for Gameweek 15.

Six teams are scheduled to play twice due to the Carabao Cup quarter-finals and a rogue Conference League fixture (against KuPS) for Crystal Palace.

Let’s run through some potential transfer targets.

Bukayo Saka (£6.7m)

Regular readers of this article will know that we try not to insult your intelligence by repeatedly suggesting obvious names but we feel Arsenal’s No7 is worth highlighting at this stage.

The Gunners do not have a second fixture in Gameweek 15 (their Carabao Cup quarter-final will take place in Gameweek 16) but they do have the luxury of the Premier League’s most favourable match-up in the form of a home game against Wolves.

You only have to look at Bruno Fernandes’s (£5.9m) 24-point haul at Molineux on Monday night to get a feel for what Saka might achieve against Rob Edwards’s beleaguered troops.

Wolves actually seem to be getting worse and it would be the biggest upset of the campaign so far if they were to avoid a mauling in North London on Saturday night.

Several Arsenal players will be licking their lips but availability question marks make Saka the leading candidate.

Anthony Gordon (£4.5m)

Newcastle will travel to rivals Sunderland on Sunday for a highly-anticipated clash before welcoming Fulham to St James’ Park on Wednesday night.

The Magpies’ No10 is coming off the back of a 24-point haul in Gameweek 14, albeit thanks to penalties against both Burnley and Bayer Leverkusen.

Gordon has been heavily reliant on spot-kicks this season but experienced Dream Team bosses will know the value of a successful set-piece taker.

He’s now scored seven goals in all competitions this term, Phil Foden (£5.3m) is the only midfielder to have bagged more at the time of writing.

There may be an element of chasing lost points here but the fact Newcastle are among the select group of teams with an additional fixture makes Gordon viable for the coming Gameweek — at the very least he could be sold for a quick profit next week.

Bruno Guimaraes (£5.1m) has also been in good form of late, barring his own goal in Germany on Wednesday night.

Call it a gut feeling but the tenacious Brazilian midfielder seems like the type of player who will relish Sunday’s derby.

Harry Wilson (£2.6m)

With the European competitions about be paused, you might want to consider alternative options for the busy festive period.

Take Fulham’s Welsh international as an example.

Wilson is among the most in-form midfielders in the game having registered four goal involvements in his last three games, including two Goal of the Season contenders.

The 28-year-old has a wand of a left foot and will be hopeful of further returns in Gameweek 15, a rare double header for the Cottagers.

Marco Silva’s side travel to Burnley (on a run of six straight defeats) before the aforementioned Carabao Cup showdown with Newcastle.

In fact, Fulham’s fixtures appear relatively favourable for the rest of December.

Josko Gvardiol (£5.5m)

As the top-ranked players in their respective positions, there’s no need to explain why Foden and Erling Haaland (£7.7m) are good selections.

But perhaps it’s time you considered Manchester City defenders.

Gameweek 14 was massive for Pep Guardiola’s regulars at the back as Gvardiol, Ruben Dias (£4.2m) and Matheus Nunes (£4.2m) combined for 51 points.

A reminder that Nico O’Reilly (£3.3m) is categorised as a midfielder in Dream Team.

The Croatian centre-back is expensive but he’s also the best performer of the three with 99 points to his name.

He has a useful knack of scoring or assisting in big moment, averaging a goal involvement roughly every three games in 2025/26.

Liverpool continue to ship goals while Arsenal and Crystal Palace are struggling with injuries in defence — suddenly City’s starters seem rather appealing.

Gvardiol and company are scheduled to face Palace and Brentford in Gameweek 15 with other favourable match-ups against West Ham and Nottingham Forest to come before the turn of the year.
