ANDY CARROLL has deleted his Instagram account amid a rough start to the season.
Carroll, 36, returned to English football in July following two years in France where he spent the last couple of seasons with Amiens and Bordeaux.
The striker, who amassed 248 appearances in the Premier League during his near 20-year career, took football fans by surprise when he signed with non-league outfit Dagenham & Redbridge.
However, the ex-England international’s stint at National League South didn’t get off to a good start after overcoming a hamstring injury.
The ex-Liverpool star made his debut two weeks ago by coming on as a second-half substitute and only managing a mere 28 minutes on the pitch that saw the Daggers lose 5-2 at Worthing.
The former Newcastle star’s next match in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup at Bedford Town was even worse.
Carroll started for Lee Bradbury’s side to mark his full debut – while wearing the captain’s armband – but was sent off in the closing stages of the first half following an aerial challenge.
This all comes amid a turbulent on-and-off relationship with girlfriend Lou Teasdale.
The ex-West Ham ace and Lou, 41, split for a second time two weeks ago following their “make or break holiday”.
Their year-long relationship hit the rocks last month following a series of bitter rows.
Carroll dumped Lou in August but days later admitted he “made a mistake”.
And despite recently sharing loved up snaps of them together on holiday, the couple ultimately unfollowed each other on Instagram.
And the forward went on to completely delete his profile on the popular platform.
