ANDRE ONANA was mobbed and danced with Trabzonspor fans as he brought an end to his nightmare at Manchester United.

The goalkeeper has joined the Turkish side on loan until the end of the season.

Onana, 29, had fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford after several high-profile errors.

Manager Ruben Amorim opted to start the season with Altay Bayindir and has recruited Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.

The Cameroonian looked thrilled to have United behind him as he touched down in Turkey.

Onana was filmed being mobbed by fans after he arrived in the city of Trabzon.

As he walked out of the airport, he joined in with fans as they chanted for him.

Onana could be seen wearing a scarf with the colours of the Super Lig side and dancing with the fans.

Reports have claimed that he will earn “significantly more” than he was at United.

This is due to the signing-on fee and bonuses on offer at Trabzonspor.

SunSport exclusively revealed that Amorim believes Onana’s exit has cleared his squad of negative influences.

Onana’s relationship with United boss Amorim broke down irretrievably over the past month.

The Portuguese manager was not impressed with the ex-Inter Milan star as he picked up a hamstring injury at the start of pre-season.

This was then only further stimulated when he had been filmed playing on a mud patch in his homeland in June.

Amorim has cleared out the United squad this summer with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony all leaving.

Even Tyrell Malacia is also set for a Turkish escape exit with a loan to Eyupspor.

Onana’s exit means that Amorim will have to pick between Bayindir and new-boy Lammens for the Manchester derby on Sunday.

Whoever gets the nod will surely be concerned after Man City star Erling Haaland scored FIVE GOALS against Moldova on Tuesday.
