SCOTLAND punched their ticket to the World Cup in North America last night in stunning fashion.
An absolutely ecstatic Ally McCoist is already there!

Few could have foreseen the level of drama that unfolded as Scotland took on Denmark at Hampden last night.
The end goal was a simple one – win and we were in. A first World Cup appearance since 1998 was there to be won.
And we did it.
Scott McTominay’s early overhead kick sent the national stadium wild.
The second half is where things really went into overdrive.
A Rasmus Hojlund penalty drew the Danes level and heartbreak looked like it was on the cards.
Lawrence Shankland came off the bench and poked home from close range and we thought that it would surely be the goal to send us to the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Denmark had other ideas and Patrick Dorgu levelled things at 2-2 late doors.
Then, two more moments truly for the ages.
Kieran Tierney‘s stunning effort from the edge of the box put us 3-2 up deep into added time.
Even deeper into added time, Kenny McLean launched an outrageous chip from the half way line all the way over Kasper Schmeichel and into the net.
It was THE last kick of the ball and it sent us to the World Cup with a 4-2 win. Cue delirium.
France 98 is now firmly entrenched as a memory with the Tartan Army now looking forward to the USA, Canada and Mexico 2026.
Ally McCoist famously missed out on a place in the squad 27 years ago.
This time around, the former Rangers and Scotland striker is getting the party started early!
He’s been out in the USA during the past week on an NFL-themed road trip.
As luck would have it, he so happened to be in the party capital of the WORLD last night – Sin City itself, Las Vegas.
While he was on the other side of the world, McCoist was NEVER going to miss last night’s epic.
After the game, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts with his followers.
And it’s fair to say, the adrenaline had McCoist absolutely EUPHORIC.
The video shows McCoist walking around a Las Vegas bar and struggling to speak after losing his voice.
Thrilled McCoist tells the camera: “Man alive, man live!
“I’m absolutely – voice has gone – buzzing with a capital B. Buzzing, capital B.
“Oh man. I’m on the Diet Coke. I’m on the Diet Coke. My voice has gone.
“Unbelivebale lads, what a finish that was. Oh man!
“I just can’t believe it. I’m watching it up there. It’s remarkable. Absoltuely remarkable.
“Just so happy man. So happy.”
Last night’s triumph also means, of course, that Scotland avoid a dreaded play-off early next year.
