Ramsey took to Instagram to alert members of the public to the missing dog and has offered a reward – with volunteers even carrying placards in the street.

He posted: “Please help us find Halo, he was lost in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, in the vicinity of Hipsterrier which is a dog shelter.

“A reward is being offered. Any information is valuable. HELP US GET HIM BACK TO HIS FAMILY.”

But just days later and things do not appear to have got better as Ramsey posted a black and white picture of his dog sleeping.

GUNNER HIDE

Can you guess Arsenal star wearing £1,360 outfit on team bonding night out?

And he ominously put: “What I’d do to hold you one last time Halo.”

The Welshman was given lots of support by fans in the comment section – as his desperate search to find Halo continues.

Ramsey – has capped 86 times – was named in the Wales squad for this month’s internationals before he pulled out through injury.

He has not turned out for his country for over a year and has made six appearances in the Mexican side since his summer switch on a free transfer following his release from Cardiff.

Revealing why he made the move earlier this year, Ramsey said: “I spoke a lot with the coach before coming, so I was excited about what he’s accomplished in his career so far, the success he’s had, the vision he has for Pumas.

“Obviously, coming to play for a club like this, the biggest club in Mexico, was an easy decision for me. I wanted to experience this.

“To be honest, I didn’t know much [about the club] but I spoke to a few people beforehand, and I was impressed by the quality and competitiveness of the league.

“I think the matches I’ve played in have demonstrated the quality that exists in Mexico.

“It’s a great challenge that we’re looking forward to.”

The midfielder spent the majority of his career playing for Arsenal before signing for Juventus in 2019.

He made 369 appearances across his 11-year spell with the Gunners, scoring 64 goals and providing 60 assists.
