In the first five rounds, Garner had the edge, outworking Bellotti. In the sixth round, Bellotti finally put it together, taking the round and drawing blood from the nose of Garner. In the seventh round, Bellotti got a small cut on the outside corner of his left eyebrow—another close round. In the ninth round, Bellotti would grab Garner into clinch after clinch.

In the tenth round’s halfway point, Bellotti landed a left to the chin of Garner. In the final minute, Garner again outlanded Bellotti. In the eleventh round’s final minute, Garner rocked Bellotti with a left hook on the chin. In the twelfth and final round, after half a minute, Garner rocked Bellotti with a left hook on the chin, knocking him back into the ropes, when referee Victor Loughlin had seen enough and waved it off.

In the first round, Aloys had an edge. In the next two rounds, there was little action. In the fourth round’s final minute, Aloys wrestled Zorro to the canvas. In the fifth through the seventh rounds, Zorro had an edge using his jab. Too much clinching in this one.

In the eighth and ninth, it was more of the same. In the tenth and final round, Aloys took a close round.

The scores were 97-93, 98-93, and 96-94. Lee Every was the referee.

In the first round, the taller Fail out landed Abubaker, rocking him several times. In the second round’s last seconds, Fail landed four punches to the body and head of Abubaker. In the third round, Fail controlled countering with his jab, having the reach. In the final seconds, Abubaker had failed against the ropes with a flurry of punches.

In the fourth round, Abubaker continued following Fail around the ring with both landing about the same. Abubaker, in the final minute, had a cut on his right eyebrow. In the fifth and sixth rounds, Fail used his jab well as Abubaker only got in some combinations a few times.

In the seventh, Abubaker is frustrated at not getting through the defense of Fail and getting countered. In the eighth round, Fail landed half a dozen unanswered punches, starting with a left hook, dropping Abubaker at the foot of the ropes as referee Kevin Parker waved it off without a count.

Super flyweight Tony ‘Lightning’ Curtis, Jr. (11-1, 3 KOs) defeated southpaw Charles Tondo (16-10-3, 7 KOs) by a six-round points decision.

In the first round, a protégé of Roy Jones, Jr., Curtis had his way in the first half of the round before Tondo landed several punches. In the second through fourth rounds, it went back and forth, with Tondo being the aggressor, only to be countered by Curtis.

In the fifth round, Tondo almost didn’t come out for the sixth after a tough round. In the sixth and final round, Curtis got the edge in a close fight.

Referee Mark Bates scored it 59-55.
