Claressa Shields vs Daniels – Start Time, Streaming Info And Fight Card

Claressa Shields (16-0, 3 KOs), the only fighter—man or woman—to become undisputed champion in three weight divisions, returns home to Detroit on Saturday, July 26. She’ll defend her Undisputed Heavyweight World Championship against IBF Light Heavyweight titleholder Lani Daniels (11-2-2, 1 KO) at Little Caesars Arena. The fight streams live on DAZN and is close to a full house.

Shields hasn’t fought in Detroit since turning pro. Now, she’s bringing undisputed gold back to the city where it all started.

Start Times:

  • 8 PM ET (New York, Detroit, Toronto)
  • 7 PM CT (Chicago, Dallas)
  • 6 PM MT (Denver, Calgary)
  • 5 PM PT (Los Angeles, Vancouver)
  • 1 AM BST (London – Sunday, July 27)
  • 12 PM NZST (Auckland – Sunday, July 27)
  • 10 AM AEST (Sydney – Sunday, July 27)

No Distractions, No Excuses

Shields isn’t here for headlines. “My arm is completely healed. I will have no excuses after fighting Lani,” she said. “Even if I only have one arm, I’ll still get the job done.”

The Michigan-native is still frustrated over a false-positive marijuana test and says she’s taking a urine test the night before the fight “to shut that talk down.”

Daniels called her out last year. Now she gets her shot. Shields’ response? “I just show up and fight. I’ve beaten the best women in boxing. There is no one for me to beat except the women put in front of me.”

Daniels Is Quiet but Intentional

Lani Daniels isn’t here to fill a card. The New Zealand fighter respects the opponent, but not the result:

“I’m about to fight the best woman on the planet, but I’m here for a reason.”

She won’t be rattled by the crowd—but she will be outnumbered. Shields has built a loyal following, and nearly three-quarters of the tickets sold have gone to women. That’s her arena now. Daniels has to walk into it and try to take everything.
