Pacquiao 146.8 vs. Barrios 146.2 and Fundora 152.6 vs. Tszyu 153.2 – Official Weigh-in Results for Saturday

Manny Pacquiao and WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios weighed in successfully today at their weigh-in for their headliner on PBC on Prime Video PPV this Saturday, July 19th, in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao vs. Barrios: Weigh-in Recap

Looking considerably older than the last time he fought four years ago, the 46-year-old Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs), mostly smiled and waved at the crowd during his face-off with Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KOs) after weighing in.

For a person his age, Pacquiao looked good body-wise, but one could see the age in his face. He’s no longer the youthful fighter he was 16 years ago, when he was racking up wins over top fighters left and right. Manny is coming off a loss in his last fight in 2021. He’s going to have to fight a lot better on Saturday than he did then because Barrios is in his prime and tough.

Weigh-in Results

  • Manny Pacquiao: 146.8 vs. Mario Barrios: 146.2
  • Sebastián Fundora 152.6 vs. Tim Tszyu 153.2
  • Omar Salcido 139.4 vs. Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz 138.8

In the fight that many boxing fans believe should be the real main event, WBC junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora (22-1-1, 14 KOs) and Tim Tszyu (25-2, 18 KOs_ weighed in without any problems.

Bloodbath Bound: Fundora-Tszyu

Tszyu did his usual take-down pose during the face-off, looking like he was ready to jump on Fundora. During the interview, Tszyu seemed combative, bitter, and still unhappy about his loss last year to Sebastian.

Tim Tszyu: “He should have killed me the first time,” said Tim Tszyu to Premier Boxing Champions about what he learned from his loss to Sebastian Fundora. “I’m coming back with relentlessness in pursuit of a world title, and Fundora is the man that is [in possession] of that.

“Of course, we’re professional boxers. We know what it’s about. Mark my words now. There’s no more respect now.”

Sebastian Fundora: “There’s time for silence and violence. This is a sport where we all want the same thing. We all want to become champions, but this is a competitive sport. I plan to win.”
