DAZN Rolls Out ‘The Ring Pass’ Before Usyk vs. Dubois

DAZN Rolls Out ‘The Ring Pass’ Before Usyk vs. Dubois

Boxing’s been a nightmare to follow — and DAZN knows it.

Endless apps. Random PPVs slapped on top of existing subs. Big names ducking each other while fans get stuck paying for fights that don’t matter.

Now DAZN says it’s had enough — and it’s pushing out The Ring Pass, a new subscription that claims to fix the mess.

It’s launching just ahead of Usyk vs. Dubois, but it’s not just about this fight. It’s a test. One subscription, no surprise fees, and all the big fights in one place — that’s the pitch.

So What Exactly Is ‘The Ring Pass’?

DAZN, in partnership with The Ring Magazine and Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season, is rolling out a new monthly service:

It’s meant to be a single home for boxing — something fans have been asking for since streaming began.

What’s Different This Time?

Plenty of platforms have tried bundling content before, but DAZN is backing this with three big things:

  1. Global tech infrastructure (DAZN)

  2. A respected boxing brand (The Ring)

  3. Heavy funding (Riyadh Season and Turki Alalshikh)

And unlike past efforts, this one’s launching with a heavyweight fight headlining Wembley.

Usyk vs. Dubois: A Fight or a Test Run?

This Saturday’s fight isn’t just for belts. It’s a soft launch for The Ring Pass model.

It’s not revolutionary — but it’s a clear sign of what’s coming. One platform. Consistent access.

Could This Actually Change the Sport?

Depends who joins the party. If DAZN can get promoters and fighters to buy in — and avoid the usual politics — it might finally put boxing on a platform fans can trust long-term.

Right now, it’s early days. But the direction’s right.

Worth Paying Attention To

The Ring Pass won’t fix boxing overnight, and DAZN still needs to prove it can pull in the right names and deliver on access. But this could be the first real attempt to make the sport watchable without a manual.

It starts with Usyk vs. Dubois. What follows could finally bring some order to boxing’s chaos.
