AMANDA Anisimova has made a most impressive run all the way to the Wimbledon final, defeating World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in the semis.

In the first round in SW19, the American destroyed Yulia Putintseva in straight sets, both to love.

She continued her dominant form in the next stage by beating Renata Zarazua in straight sets.

The third round saw her face Dalma Galfi, where she dropped her first set in this year’s championship, but came through the challenge to win comfortably enough.

Amanda overcame Linda Noskova in another three-set battle in round four.

In the quarter-finals, she secured a straight-sets victory over Maria Sakkari, breaking serve multiple times and displaying superb clutch play.

Anisimova stunned world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in a thrilling three-set semi-final encounter, winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 on Centre Court after a two-hour and 37-minute battle.

And next up she faces world No.4 and five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek in the Wimbledon 2025 showpiece.

Anisimova’s relationship status is unclear, but she has previously been linked to Tyler Roos, who has competed in pro sport himself, as well as being a model and reality TV star.

The two began dating in the middle of 2020, but it is not known whether or not they are still in a relationship, as the last picture of the couple together was posted five years ago.

Tyler is the son of celebrated Australian Football League (AFL) legend Paul Roos.

Dad Paul enjoyed a distinguished playing career in the AFL, representing both Fitzroy and the Sydney Swans throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

After retiring as a player, he transitioned into coaching, leading the Sydney Swans to a premiership and later serving as head coach for the Melbourne Football Club.

His wife, Tami Roos, is well known in her own right as a published author and respected public figure, recognised for her work in wellness and mindfulness.

Following in his dad’s footsteps, Tyler played pro Aussie rules football for the Southport Australian Football Club in the Victorian Football League.

He also works as a model in Melbourne, where he is represented by Brazen Models.

Tyler also appeared on reality show The Amazing Race Australia in 2019, where he won a holiday in the Northern Territory.
