Bosing Results – WBC Interim Gold Seized: Christian Mbilli Crushes Maciej Sulecki

Christian Mbilli (29-0, 24 KOs)  scored a first-round stoppage over Maciej Sulecki (33-4, 13 KOs) for the vacant WBC interim World Super Middleweight title on Friday night at the Centre Videotron, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The end came at 2:28 of round one.

In the first round’s final minute, a right uppercut on the chin from Mbilli and down went Sulecki. Upon rising, he was unsteady, causing Referee Michael Griffin to call a halt.

Former NABF Heavyweight champ Russian Arslanbek ‘Lion’ Makhmudov (20-2, 19 KOs) knocked out Ricardo ‘Big 12’ Brown (12-1, 11 KOs) at 1:57 of the first round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round, Brown hit Makhmudov behind the head. Makhmudov came back and landed a big right on the chin, and down went Brown for an 8-count from referee Albert Padulo, Jr., who called a halt when Brow was not steady on his feet after getting back up.

Super Lightweight Leila Beaudoin (13-1, 2 KOs) stopped former interim EBU feather champ Elhem ‘The Diamond’ Mekhaled (17-4, 3 KOs) at 1:08 of the sixth round of a scheduled 10×2 rounds for the WBO International super featherweight title.

Before the fight, both exchanged gifts. In the first three rounds, Beaudoin outworked Mekhaled. In the sixth round, Beaudoin dropped Mekhaled with a flurry of punches. Seconds later, she dropped Mekhaled again. In the final minute, Beaudoin scored a third knockdown with an overhand right on the chin, stopping the fight.

Martin Forest was the referee.

Light welterweight Colombian Jhon ‘El Tigre’ Orobio (14-0, 12 KOs) knocked out Zsolt Osadan (27-4-1, 17 KOs) at 2:57 of the first round of a scheduled 10 rounds for the WBC Continental Americas title.

At the first round’s halfway point, Orobio dropped Osadan with a right for an 8-count from Referee Albert Padulo, Jr. In the final seconds, a left hook to the body had Osadan seemingly frozen out on his feet when Orobio followed up with a left to the chin, dropping Osadan again, causing referee Padulo to end it.

Super middleweight Wilkens Mathieu (14-0, 10 KOs)  impressed in stopping southpaw Adagio McDonald (8-2, 6 KOs) at 0:44 of the third round of a scheduled eight rounds.

In the first two rounds, Mathieu’s foot and hand speed landing right uppercuts to the body dominated McDonald. In the third round, McDonald landed a left to the chin, starting the round. Mathieu came back with pinpoint punches, having McDonald bewildered. Finally, a left from Mathieu on the chin and down went McDonald, ending the one-sided fight.

In a rematch, the former NABF middleweight champ Steven ‘Bang Bang’ Butler (36-5-1, 30 KOs) stopped Jose ‘El Changuito’ de Jesus Macias (29-14-4, 15) at 1:33 of the fourth round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round, Butler landed several rights on the chin on occasions. He was stopped in their first fight and is looking for revenge. In the fourth round, Butler landed a right, dropping Macias for an 8-count. Macias did not look steady upon rising. Butler went right after him, landing a finishing fight, dropping Macias a second time with a combination, ending the fight.

WBC Continental Americas welterweight champion Cristopher ‘Machine Gun’ Guerrero (15-0, 9 KOs) knocked out southpaw Sandy Messaoud (20-9, 1 KOs) at 2:28 of the tenth and final round, for the WBC Continental Americas welterweight title.

In the first round, southpaw Messaoud used an effective jab to take the round. In the second through the fourth, Guerrero came back well. Messaoud had the edge in the fifth. In the sixth round, Guerrero landed a hard right in the opening seconds, getting the attention of Messaoud.

In the seventh through the ninth, Messaoud had an edge. In the tenth and final round’s final minute, Guerrero hurt Messaoud with a right, followed by a flurry of punches, causing the fight to be stopped by Messaoud’s corner, causing referee Richard Bloudin to wave it off. Seemed Messaoud had a slight lead.

Lightweight Luis Santana (14-0, 7 KOs) knocked out Eduardo ‘La Pesadeilla’ Estela (17-5, 12 KOs) at 2:03 of the fifth round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round, with forty seconds to go, Santana landed a right on the chin and drove Estela across the ring into the ropes for an 8-count from referee Michael Griffin. In the second round, with a minute remaining, an overhand right on the chin from Santana and down went Estela for an 8-count for a third knockdown. Estella has bad swelling under his right eye.

In the third round’s final seconds, Santana hit Estela behind the head, finally getting a warning. In the fifth round, a left from Santana dropped Estella for another 8-count, ending the fight as he got up. Referee Griffin called a halt. Estella had bad swelling under both eyes at the end.

2020 Bronze medal Olympian light welterweight southpaw Wyatt ‘Kennetcook Kid’ Sanford (3-0, 2 KOs) defeated Mark Andrejev (4-2) by a six-round unanimous decision.

In the first three rounds, Sanford kept backing up Andrejev, who kept his hands held high with little offense countering. In the fifth round, Sanford drove Andrejev around the ring. In the sixth and final round, it was all Sanford.

The scores were 60-54, 50-54, and 60-53.

Benoit Roussel was the referee.
