Christian Mbilli and veteran Maciej Sulecki are fighting tonight in the 12-round main event for the vacant WBC interim super middleweight title, positioning themselves to fight for the world title in 2026. Mbilli-Sulecki will take place at the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Canada.

The winner of tonight’s fight between the unbeaten #1 Mbilli (28-0, 23 KOs) and #7 Sulecki (33-3, 13 KOs) will be in place to challenge the winner of the Canelo vs. Terence Crawford fight for the WBC 168-lb title next year. Sulecki, 36, is expected to fight well early on, using his jab and quick combinations to land shots. He’s got the technical skills advantage over Mbilli. However, as the fight wears on, Mbilli’s high volume will overwhelm Sulecki, putting him on the defensive.
The Polish fighter Sulecki doesn’t have the mobility to elude the 2016 Olympian Mbilli the way that he needs to keep him off. Moreover, Maciej’s lack of punching power will make it difficult for him to gain Mbilli’s respect, which will make him hesitant to attack.
In Sulecki’s losses to Diego Pacheco, Daniel Jacobs, and Demetrius Andrade, he struggled under the pressure from those fighters. He didn’t have the pop in his punches to slow them down.
