Thruxton is the focus of the latest Autosport National Podcast with a review of last weekend’s Thruxton Retro event and a look at other developments at the Hampshire speedbowl.
Group National Editor Stephen Lickorish is joined by Ben Taylor, chief executive of the British Automobile Racing Club that operates Thruxton, to discuss the thinking behind the revamped historic racing festival and its ‘superfunk’ title.
It attracted some impressive grids and there was a brilliant atmosphere with a host of off-track activities providing entertainment for the whole family.
The new Woodham Hill vantage point is also analysed, with Taylor explaining where the idea first came from.
