Cincinnati Bengals WR duo ranked best in the NFL

When most people think of the Cincinnati Bengals, they think of their high-powered offense led by quarterback Joe Burrow. Ever since Burrow was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2020, he has changed the culture, making them perennial contenders. However, Burrow is not alone in giving the Bengals a top offense in football. He has been helped plenty by his two elite wide receivers, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Those two have recently been named the best wide receiver duo in the NFL, according to PFF.

The duo is a PFF darling, and both recently received new contracts that will keep them in Cincinnati for the foreseeable future. PFF said, “The duo’s combined 27 receiving touchdowns led the league by a wide margin. Both players ranked among the best wide receivers in PFF overall grade, too. Chase ranked 11th with an 85.8 mark, and Higgins placed sixth with an 88.2 figure.”

You can make an argument that Chase is the best wide receiver in football, and he showed that last season with historic production. He is one of the rare players who lacks any notable weaknesses, and that is what separates him from most other receivers. Chase has yet to receive a PFF grade of under 83.9 during his four-year career, along with never having a season with fewer than 100 receptions or fewer than 1,200 yards. Higgins would be a number one receiver in many teams around the league, but being paired with Chase, he must settle for being the best WR2. His 6’4” frame makes him an excellent complement next to Chase, and they cause nightmares for opposing defenses.

The Bengals will only go as far as their offense can take them in 2025. They have the passing game to compete with any team in the league, but their success as a team will depend on whether they can get enough stops on defense.
