Thunder vs. Pacers odds: Oklahoma City is biggest NBA Finals road favorite in 35 years in Game 4

The Oklahoma City Thunder came into the 2025 NBA Finals as huge -700 favorites at BetMGM, tied for the seventh-biggest favorite in the NBA Finals since 1968, according to Sports Odds History. The Thunder went an astonishing 68-14 in the regular season en route to the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and were also good to bettors, going a ridiculous 55-23-4 against the spread — the best ATS mark in 35 seasons.

Despite losing 116-107 in Game 3 on Wednesday night to the Indiana Pacers to go down 2-1 in the series, Oklahoma City is still a -250 favorite to win the series.

What’s more remarkable, though, is the Thunder are currently 6.5-point road favorites in Game 4 at BetMGM. If the line holds, Oklahoma City would be the largest road favorite in the NBA Finals since at least the 1990-91 season.

The previous mark was set by the Los Angeles Lakers when they were six-point road favorites in Game 5 of the 2001 NBA Finals at the Philadelphia 76ers. The Lakers won (and covered) in a 108-96 victory to win the title.

The Thunder closed as 5.5-point road favorites in Game 3, tying with three other teams as the second-biggest road favorite since 1990. Oklahoma City is now 8-11 ATS this postseason.
