Chiefs’ owner Clark Hunt and family soak up the sun on scenic Lake Como getaway

The first family of the Kansas City Chiefs is taking some time off before the team’s summer training camp kicks off next month.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, his wife, Tavia Hunt, and their kids were recently spotted enjoying a luxury vacation in Lake Como, Italy. Clark’s daughters, Gracie and Ava, have both grown public followers in recent years, and they regularly share their travels on social media.

However, on Monday, it was Tavia who first shared several glimpses of the family’s trip to the iconic lakeside destination on Instagram.

She captioned the post, “Dolce far niente, Como edition.🇮🇹Highlights include gelato, limoncello, & buffalo mozzarella.”

In the photos, the Chiefs’ CEO and his family are seen taking in the celeb hotspot’s gorgeous architecture and historic villas, including Villa del Balbianello, an 18th-century villa that’s famous for its scenes in “Star Wars” and “James Bond.”

The Hunt family was also seen boating on the lake and dining at local eateries during the trip.

While the family appeared to have a great vacation, the NFL owner’s wife said it will likely be their last trip as a family for a while.

“This is likely our last family trip for a long time, as our son is moving to NYC to work in investment banking in a couple of weeks. We enjoyed every single moment. It was so special,” Tavia told a follower who commented on her post.

Clark Hunt has a big decision to make this summer regarding the Chiefs’ future at Arrowhead when he returns

The billionaire NFL owner should be enjoying his time away, as he is on the clock to make a big decision regarding the future of the Kansas City Chiefs football team when he gets back.

The Chiefs must decide by June 30 whether they will relocate across the state border or remain in their current city.

A new stadium could cost the region an estimated $3 billion, whereas renovation on the historic Arrowhead Stadium could set the team back around $1 billion.

Arrowhead Stadium is located on the Missouri side of the state border.

Officials in Kansas have offered the Chiefs several incentives to lure them over to the other side. The financial offers, however, are set to expire this summer, which means the NFL team could make a public announcement soon.

While it’s unclear which direction they will go, Clark gave some insight during the NFL’s annual league meeting in March.

“I do think for the community, a dome would be a tremendous asset,”

“It would give the Kansas City region an opportunity to host significant events,” he said.

The Chiefs have played football at Arrowhead Stadium, which is the third oldest stadium in the league, in Kansas City, Missouri since 1972.
