Another Major week for Nippon Shafts

Newly crowned U.S. Women’s Open Champion Maja Stark won her first major, using N.S.PRO MODUS³ WEDGE 105 and AWT 2.0 in her irons enroute to a 2-shot margin of victory over the LPGA’s number 1 player Nelly Korda.

On the PGA TOUR Champions, Miguel Angel Jiminez took home his third victory in 2025 at Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Iowa after birdieing the first playoff hole for his sixteenth career Champions Tour win.  In the bag were N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR105 in his irons and wedges.

“Nippon Shaft congratulates the U.S. Women’s Open Champion on her first major championship” said officials at Nippon Shaft. “We are proud that the top women’s golfers continue to trust us, as this makes Nippon Shaft products in the 2nd Major win in 2025, third U.S. Women’s Open in a row and 54 Major LPGA wins overall since 2004.  We’re also very proud to continue to be in the Champion’s winning irons and wedges at the Principal Charity Classic.”

More than 300 players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, European Tour and Korn Ferry Tour use Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series steel shafts to help gain their desired distance, accuracy, and trajectory.

Nippon Shaft products are available globally either as stock or custom shafts in many of the world’s top iron brands.  Details of these can be found at www.nipponshaft.com
