NFL teams travel thousands of miles every season to multiple different places in the United States, and even around the world, to play games. This can lead to a ton of extra wear and tear on hard-working players who already commit to a rigorous season.
A plethora of teams deal with this issue on a yearly basis, but luckily, travel shouldn’t be a problem for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025. According to Bill Speros of Bookies.com, Pittsburgh is set to travel 15,062 miles this season, which is the ninth-lowest in the league.
The longest trip the Steelers will have to make in the United States in 2025 will be the game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. However, Mike Tomlin’s squad will make a 3,428-mile journey to Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland, to square off against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4
Not every franchise was as lucky as Pittsburgh. The LA teams, the Chargers and the Rams, will have to travel the most in the NFL this year. The Chargers will travel 37,086 miles, while the Rams will be on the move for 34,832 miles over the course of the year.
Here is the list of home and away opponents the Steelers will face in 2025, just in case you forgot:
Home games: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks.
Away games: Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, New York Jets
We already know one of Pittsburgh’s game, but the full schedule will release on May 14. Stay tuned.
