Frankfurt vs Tottenham LIVE SCORE: Europa League updates as Spurs look to book semi-final spot with huge win in Germany

Is Ange Postecoglou’s job on the line?

Aussie gaffer Ange Postecoglou has somewhat lost-the-plotglou as of late at Spurs.

The manager was seen cupping his ear to the travelling Spurs fans at Stamford Bridge when Pape Matar Sarr scored the equaliser, only for VAR to rule the goal out.

Tottenham have shown no signs of a sudden resurgence in the Premier League either, lingering down in 15th place.

If not for the bottom three being so far adrift, Spurs would be heading into the run-in with relegation looming over their shoulders.

The Europa League is all Spurs have left, so an exit tonight could spell the end for Ange Postecoglou.

A big night in Germany

Welcome to SunSport’s coverage of Tottenham’s trip to Frankfurt.

Spurs’ season hangs in the balance, with the side needing a HUGE victory tonight to salvage anything from this season,

Ange Postecoglou’s job is in serious jeopardy, and a loss in Germany could signal the end of his time in north London.

The sides are split 1-1 after the first leg, with Pedro Porro cancelling out Hugo Ekitike’s strike to send the sides to Frankfurt level.

The hosts tonight are in a mixed run of form, only winning five of their last 10, but are currently third in the Bundesliga.

Ekitike is attraction attention from all around Europe, and with 30 goal involvements this season, a huge display against Spurs will boost his market value even further.

With Spurs lingering in 15th in the Premier League, their season comes down to the Europa League.

SunSport has you covered for the play-by-play action from tonight’s HUGE clash.
