Emma Raducanu gets over ‘£3m-a-year Vodafone deal axe’ on glamorous LA getaway

EMMA RADUCANU enjoyed a glamorous holiday in Los Angeles after her Vodafone sponsorship deal ended.

The British tennis star, 22, was picking up a whopping £3million per year for promoting the communications giant.

But reports claim the agreement struck in 2021 has been terminated as the world No47 was allegedly asking for too much money.

Raducanu still reportedly pockets £9m per year via endorsements from deals involving the likes of Nike, Dior, Tiffany and Wilson.

And she promoted property company Luxury Collective and contractors Out Of The Blue Pools as she shared “postcard” snaps from her trip to LA.

Raducanu lived the life of luxury in the city as she enjoyed a well-earned break ahead of the clay court season.

The 2021 US Open champion had courtside seats at a recent Lakers basketball game and had a fancy meal at a high-end restaurant with a friend.

Raducanu also soaked up the Californian sun while sat by a huge swimming pool in a plush mansion.

She kept fit during her holiday by going for hikes in the Santa Monica mountains.

Raducanu shared pictures of the stunning views and admitted: “Going to miss my hikes.”

The Brit will soon be back on the court at the Madrid Open, which kicks off on April 22.

She took the chance to head to the States after pulling out of representing Great Britain in the Billie Jean King Cup against Holland and Germany.

Moment Emma Raducanu clocks ‘fixated’ man in crowd & breaks down behind umpire’s chair before he’s ‘escorted out’

Her last appearance was at the Miami Open at the end of March as she made an impressive run to the quarter-finals before narrowly losing to world No3 Jessica Pegula.

It came just six weeks after her stalker hell and on the eve of the tournament, she announced her shock split from coach Vlado Platenik following just one match together.

At the Dubai Open, Raducanu was targeted by a man displaying “fixated” behaviour while on court against Karolina Muchova.

He had earlier handed her a letter in a public area.

After spotting the individual in the crowd at her match, the Londoner burst into tears and hid in terror behind the umpire’s chair until security removed him.

The man has since been detained by police, banned from all WTA events and hit with a restraining order.
