Eddie Hearn is still upset about Conor Benn being egged by Chris Eubank Jr. and is not letting go of the incident. Hearn still believes Eubank Jr’s team knew what he was going to do and feels that was a “Misfits”-type move.

Benn (23-0, 14 KOs) seemed unruffled by the incident and just wants to get on with the promotional of his April 26th clash against Eubank Jr.(34-3, 25 KOs) at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Security and Safety Protocols
Hearn says the two fighters will be kept apart in Thursday’s press conference. That’s a smart move because Benn would likely be trying to even the score with some tactic. The last thing that fans need is for a fistfight to break out before they meet, and one of them gets injured.
“It was massive for the promotion, but I really didn’t like the move, and I was quite angry when he first did it,” said Eddie Hearn to The Stomping Ground, still reflecting on the egging by Chris Eubank Jr. of Conor Benn during yesterday’s press conference. “It was the shattering [sound]. I didn’t think it was an egg. It was only when you saw the yolk you realized it was an egg.
“You could tell something shattered on Conor’s face. When I saw Ben [Shalom], I said, ‘Get off you.’ The whole team would know what he was going to do. Eubank has a chip on his shoulder where it’s, ‘Me against the world.’ He’s not interested in having a relationship or partnership with a promoter. He never has been. He’s like, ‘I’m my own man.’ He’s always had that resistance to the world,” said Hearn.
