DANIELLE COLLINS stayed true to her promise by jetting out to the Bahamas following her Australian Open exit.
The American, 31, warred with the Melbourne crowd during her round two clash with Aussie qualifier Destanee Aiava.
Aussie fans passionately backed their player Aiava, but Collins managed to come through with a 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 win.
Fired up by her triumph and annoyed with the crowd, Collins cupped her hand to her ear, blew kisses and even tapped her bum.
She then said in her on-court interview: “During the match I was like, while I’m out here I might as well take that big fat pay cheque.
“We love a five star vacation, so a big part of that will go towards that.
“So thank you guys, thanks for coming out here and supporting us tonight. Thank you guys, love you.”
She then went on to add: “Me and my girlfriends, we love a five-star holiday, so I can guarantee that next cheque is going to go towards a five-star trip, hopefully to the Bahamas.
“We like boats. Big boats. We like yachts. Yeah, we’ll post about it and let you guys know how it goes.”
True to her word, Collins did head to the Bahamas before sharing a video clip from her trip on Instagram.
Her video showed her picturesque walk down to the beach.
She also showed off her roomy apartment, before patting her bum again while playing pickleball.
Collins beamed while posing with her friends, then sunbathed in a bikini.
Alongside kissing and heart emojis, she wrote: “This five star vacay brought to you by @coralsands_harbourisland.”
Collins’ rant at the fans in Australia drew her praise from Novak Djokovic.
The legendary Serb, 37, said: “I loved her response.
“I loved it. Everything she said on the court, off the court.
“Big fan of Danielle Collins after that. I was before, but now, big fan.
“I think she was funny, smart and just big fan of what she did.”
Collins had planned to retire at the end of last season, before performing a U-turn on her decision.
She is not set to be in action at upcoming 1000 tournaments in Doha and Dubai due to a foot injury.
