The Knicks are looking at potential depth pieces at the deadline and are among many teams to have checked in on Philadelphia 76ers big man Guerschon Yabusele, according to SNY’s Ian Begley.
The Sixers aren’t necessarily looking to move Yabusele, per Begley, but the power forward from France is having a strong season in Philly, averaging 10.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and two assists per game. A power forward by trade, Yabusele has played 44 games at center for the Sixers due to injuries.
Begley points out that the Sixers will have to send its 2025 first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder if they fall out of the top six and could be incentivized to lose. Philly is currently 19-27, 11th in the Eastern Conference.
