Turnovers played a massive role in the Ravens’ 2025 playoff exit.
In Sunday’s 27-25 loss to the Bills in the AFC divisional round, Baltimore gave the ball away to Buffalo’s defense on three occasions. The Bills’ win sent Josh Allen and company to the AFC championship game, while Lamar Jackson and the Ravens wrapped up an otherwise strong season.
Mark Andrews drew heavy criticism postgame for two fourth-quarter mistakes, a lost fumble and a drop on a potential game-tying play. And in the frustration of the loss, Jackson went on a rant about how Baltimore can’t afford turnovers in big games, which some might perceive as a dig toward Andrews.
Here’s a look at Andrews’ two miscues, plus what Jackson had to say about turnovers after the game.

Andrews’ first mistake came around the halfway point of the fourth quarter. Jackson found him for a big gain, but when the tight end went to make a move on a Bills defender, he lost the ball.

Although Andrews’ second miscue wasn’t a turnover, it did seal Baltimore’s loss. Needing a two-point conversion to tie the game, he dropped an easy pass from Jackson in the end zone.

While Andrews’ mistakes will loom large in the Ravens’ loss, they weren’t the only significant turnovers from Baltimore’s offense.

Jackson had a lot to say about turnovers postgame, as they played a significant role in Buffalo’s win. Andrews’ fumble was one of those turnovers, but Jackson also had two mistakes.
In the first quarter, an overthrow from Jackson was picked off by Taylor Rapp.

After the game, Jackson first took accountability for his interception and a fumble where he said he was “trying to make something happen.” But he then called out the Ravens’ turnover issues as a whole, including himself.
“Like I’ve been saying all season, every time we have situations like this, turnovers play a factor,” Jackson said. “Tonight, the turnovers, we can’t have that s—. That’s why we lost the game. … Hold on to the f—ing ball. I’m sorry for my language, but this s— annoying. I’m tired of this s—.”

While his comments could be interpreted as a jab toward Andrews’ mistakes, Jackson also made his own turnovers a focal point after the game, taking accountability while focusing on the reality of the impact turnovers make on playoff games.
Jackson had just four interceptions in the regular season, while Andrews didn’t fumble a single time, but as Jackson put it, in a crucial game for Baltimore, turnovers were a major factor in its loss.
