The Denver Broncos are about to make their return to the playoffs for the first time since 2015. Since the team made the playoffs for the first time in 1977, that is the longest playoff drought in franchise history.
The Broncos are eager to show how far they have come and though they face perhaps the biggest challenge any team will face this weekend by having to travel to Buffalo, health is in their favor.
One of the major reasons why the Broncos have executed this turnaround this season, one that isn’t discussed enough, is that the team has had great fortune in the health department this season. The only major injury the team suffered all season was the loss of inside linebacker and defensive leader Alex Singleton. He was the team’s leading tackler but the pair of Cody Barton and Justin Strnad has stepped up and played well in his absence.
The Broncos have stayed mostly healthy otherwise and that will be the case again on Sunday. Looking at the injury report released by the team on Friday, the only player who has been ruled out is reserve offensive lineman Frank Crum.

Running back Tyler Badie is listed as questionable, and it would be a surprise if he is active, but the team has all of its resources beyond that.
Pulling off an upset in Buffalo is not going to be easy, but the Broncos are starting out at nearly 100 percent, and that sure helps.
