BGL launches summer golf pass for families

Leading UK golf and leisure operator BGL is encouraging more families to discover golf this summer with the launch of a new Summer Pass designed to make the sport more accessible, engaging and affordable during the school holidays.

Available across five of BGL’s family golf venues  – Abbey Hill (Milton Keynes), Hoebridge (Woking), Ramsdale Park (Nottingham), Sidcup Family Golf (Kent) and GolfPlex (Bracknell) –the six-week pass combines unlimited adventure golf, a one-hour driving range experience and 30% off food and drink through the duration of the pass.

Available for use from now until September 1, the Summer Pass costs £50 and is available for up to four people with a maximum of two adults.

While adventure golf remains a popular family activity in its own right, BGL believes it can also play an important role in introducing children to the wider game, helping build confidence before progressing to the driving range and, ultimately, the golf course.

Stephen Brown, Chief Operating Officer of BGL, said: “Golf has never had a greater opportunity to welcome new players, but for many families the first step can still feel intimidating. We believe adventure golf provides a natural, enjoyable introduction to the sport, creating positive experiences that can spark a lifelong interest in golf.

“By combining unlimited adventure golf with a driving range experience, we’re encouraging families to take that next step together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether children are picking up a club for the very first time or parents are rediscovering the game alongside them, we want to make golf as accessible and enjoyable as possible.

“At BGL, we’re passionate about creating exceptional spaces to play and be together. Our venues are designed to bring families together through shared experiences, and we hope the Summer Pass encourages many more people to discover everything golf has to offer this summer.”

The initiative also supports BGL’s ‘We Save, You Save’ campaign, with the business passing Government VAT savings directly back to customers to help make active family experiences more affordable during the summer holidays.
